Natalie

Natalie started taking classes at Bend in 2020 right before the world closed down. But that didn’t stop her. Natalie found spin and since then has been determined to reach her personal fitness goals - but that included taking her spin training and she is SHINING on the podium. She delivers a motivating class that pushes you, but also allows you to be who you in the moment that you are in. She is fun, engaging and so supportive of everyone around her.

Meet Natalie:

1. What song would you sing at karaoke?

I wouldn’t ever sing karaoke-I’d die of embarrassment first.

2. If you had a warning label, what would it say?

Sweet and spicy

3. What was your first job?

Waitress at my grandparents Italian restaurant

4. What was the last thing you recorded on your TV?

The 11pm News so that I could watch it with my coffee in the morning.

5. What is your proudest accomplishment?

Graduating University. I was the first in my entire family to go and graduate. I put myself through and figured it out on my own, with the help of a great high school counsellor.

6. What is your favourite song to play in your spin and/or yoga class and why?

“Soulmate” by Lizzo - It is about self love. I believe we need to love ourselves first so we can love all the special people in our lives. This song talks about putting yourself first, treating yourself right. I love that message.

7. What do you love about teaching classes?

I love the community, I love the challenge it’s given me, I love seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces when the music hits just right.

8. How do you want people to feel taking your classes?

I want people to feel strong-that it is hard work but that they can do it or they can work towards it. I want them to feel challenged.

9. Why would you take your own class?

For a good workout and knowing that I’m accepted whatever level I’m at.

10. What is a fun fact about you?

I’m an American expat that retired from one country (after 20 years) from the world of finance before having twins and becoming a SAHM.
